About the event
Training Program: From Proteomics Data to Protein Dynamics – An Integrated Bioinformatics Approach
This intensive training program provides participants with a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in analyzing complex proteomics datasets using bioinformatics tools, followed by practical skills in molecular modeling and simulation of selected proteins. Participants will learn to bridge the gap between high-throughput omics data and detailed structural/dynamic insights, crucial for drug discovery, disease mechanism elucidation, and protein engineering.
Target Audience: Researchers, Ph.D. scholars, Post-docs, Faculty, and Industry professionals in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, and allied fields who wish to develop expertise in proteomics data analysis, structural bioinformatics, and molecular simulation.
Duration : 30 days (customizable)
Foundations of Proteomics & Bioinformatics - Introduction to Proteomics: What, Why, and How? (Types: expression, structural, functional proteomics). Overview of Mass Spectrometry-based Proteomics Workflows (Bottom-up, Top-down, Label-free, Label-based quantification). Introduction to Core Bioinformatics Concepts: Databases (UniProt, NCBI, PDB), Sequence Alignment (BLAST).…
